The Impact Skimmer is designed to provide
maximum fractionation with a minimum amount of
maintenance. Because of the unique method of
injection, a smaller pump can be used for a
given size tank. The large mixing box provides
higher air/water contact time and increases
skimming efficiency. the output is placed higher
to allow deeper sump water levels without
affecting the skimmers operation.
The Impact Skimmer produces a much larger column
of foam and higher water throughput than venture
or needle wheel type skimmers and is not
affected by sump water level. The supplied
output gate valve allows the skimmer to be
adjusted for wet or dry foam production. The
Impact Skimmer is designed to run in or out of
the sump.
